- Walmart’s intentionally low wages force employees to need approximately $420,000 per year, per store, totalling $2.66 BILLION annually in food stamps and other taxpayer assistance…to survive.
- Walmart’s intentionally low wages cost the country HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars in payroll tax deductions for Federal, State, and Local taxes.
- Walmart’s intentionally low wages cost our communities the ability to hire and retain important public service workers like firefighters, police officers, maintenance workers, and teachers.
- Walmart’s intentionally low wages cost our communities with their increased need for those same public services they are underfunding.
- Walmart’s intentionally low wages and lack of covered benefits cost taxpayers over $1.02 BILLION a year in healthcare costs.
- Walmart’s intentionally low wages cost taxpayers as much as $225 MILLION in free and reduced price lunches for school-age children.
- Walmart’s intentionally low wages cost taxpayers over $780 MILLION in tax deductions for low-income families
- That’s right–Walmart pays its employees dirt, reaps enormous profits, forces its employees to enroll in social programs like food stamps, and then profits even further as its employees and all the other Americans still recovering from the economic abortion caused by the Walmarts of the world spend their food stamps. But why bother introducing legislation that seeks to impose severe fines on multibillion dollar corporations who line their pockets at the expense of taxpayers by refusing to pay their employees fair wages when it’s just so much easier to kill the poor.

Dealing with the total destruction of working class America by conservative elitist's. Inventing our food. Buying out our houses. Deporting our jobs. The corporate world is taking over, and they are defiantely doing it right in front of our eyes. It's unbelievable.

The Strongsville Post Newspaper
Small businesses are not all the same. The Strongsville Post is a free newspaper that is delivered to all of the residents in the area. Their advertisment department is ready to take your money, but not ready to perform their jobs. After paying them more than $1,000.00 we never received any calls of any service that they promised to deliver. I complained about every facet of the terrible service that we received and The publisher/owners answer was to blackball me and tell me that I was being "abusive" to his employees.
So, just like all GOP right wing conservative businesses and rich corporate theives, the Owner of The Post can just throw me to the curb, not uphold their promises and continue to use and abuse the small guys so they can sit at the cool table.
Shame on you Post Newspaper. You don't even deserve to call yourself a newspaper.

Thanks to the GOP and Superpacs...Elections are now for sale to those who can afford them.
Sheldon Adelson and Karl Rove are attempting to buy this election, just like they did in Wisconsin. The question is not why they are doing this, because we all know that money is power and the GOP stands for power over the middle class and the less fortunate, which is what President Obama is trying to save. The question is why they can get away with this. There were laws in place to prevent the purchase of candidates, and the GOP sought to level that law and proceeded to approve the "Super Pac." The question is not whether or not the people will stand up and resist this blatant corporate takeover of not only only our elections but the entire middle class of America.
The question is when will the people stand up. It is inevitable. There are about 300 million of us and just a handful of "them" and history has proven that there is strength in numbers.
Stand by America. We are being taunted. We are being mistreated and the wealthy 1% has no clue how hard it is for not just some of us but most of us. They were born with the silver spoon and will never falter.....until we stand up for ourselves and fight this outlandish takeover right in front of out face.
The revolution us near. We will stand up in peace and we will stand up with endurance. We will not conform. As Woody Guthrie said when he was fighting for the same cause...."This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land" Click here for the article: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06/16/sheldon-adelson-to-lavish_n_1600149.html.

An open letter to the America's Health Care CEO's
To: David Cordani, Allen Wise, Stephen Hemsley, Mark Bertollni, Angela Braly and Michael McCallister:
Let me start with asking this: Can you please tell us what you do with your day that justifies making $52,054.00 IN ONE DAY? This is a serious question that deserves a serious answer.
Nurses and hospital staff are asked to take lower wages in this recession that we are enduring, while you people are making record profits. They are the ones that are doing the work so you can even HAVE a paycheck. How can you justify your income when it is taken directly from the pockets of the working class that you are required to have to even operate your insurance company. How long do you think we, the people, are going to put up with this "right in front of our face" blatant victimization of American citizens?
There are more than 50 Million Americans that are uninsured. In almost all cases it is because you all charge more than a person can afford. Or you deny someone health insurance because they are sick...and then you would have to pay for their care rather than line your pockets with windfall profits that should be called extorted money from American Citizens.
In 2008 ,Aetna’s Ronald Williams received $24,300,112 last year. That’s $467,309.85 per week. That’s a house. Maybe not a house that Mr. Williams would live in, but a house nonetheless.
"The business model of American health insurers is basically: try to get healthy customers as clients, and then resist as long as possible when it comes to paying out claims. That’s actually not an indictment or a criticism. It’s just the way our system works, and it’s screwed up"-Wall Street Journal.
You are stealing from good people, and for some reason all of us good people have allowed this to happen....mostly because of ignorance in what you were doing. Now, with the social media watching and reporting....we know what you have been doing.
We CAN stop this. It won't be an easy chore because we have the Tea Party and people like the Koch Brothers that put up millions to hold us down.
To coin the GOP phrase...we will take our country back. You want to take it back to the dust bowl days when corporations ruled everything and minorities and women were held to be second class citizens with limited rights. We want to take our country back to the place where we were actually free and thought that war was just something that happened in other countries. You have declared war against the American majority with your 1% club.
Who do you think will prevail? 99% of a pissed off victimized American population or the 1% of the richest greediest people in world history.
